FLEMING WANTS TROPHY RUN (Non League Daily)

Lowestoft Town director of football Craig Fleming is determined to see the Ryman League Premier Division side embark on a run in the FA Trophy after being handed an away tie against Hitchin Town in the second qualifying round.



The Trawlerboys had to twice come from behind at Brentwood on Saturday before Dale Cockrill’s winner ensured their passage into the next round but Fleming believes the return of several key players from injury could give his side just the boost they need.…

Barcelona

Last Wednesday I got a telephone call somewhat out of the blue.  It was from a former work colleague who was wondering if I would be able to help her out at short notice.  At the end of June I finished 27 years of gainful employment and set myself up as a self-employed Interim Manager specialising in accountancy and taxation.  Yes it’s boring but we are what we are!

South China Vs Sun Hei

During a recent business trip, I was lucky enough to get to watch some local football one evening. South China AA, recognised by most as the team Nicky Butt played for in Asia, played Sun Hei SC. The standard of football was not great but the experience was. I didnt know what standard of football to expect. I was advised that being an English football fan, I would be disappointed. JPT Daggers v Southend

Big match in the JPT tonight. The Daggers v Southend. Dagenham been on a poor run of form lately, but had a good win the weekend, even if they did leave it till the last minute (plus 5!). Will Southend put out a week side so they 'can concentrate on the league' ? Cheap tickets for tonight as well, £8.00 for adults and £4.00 for Kids.

So you can keep your overpriced Man Utd/Man City, Arsenal/Tottenham, and even West Ham(my 1st love)/Millwall, this is where the proper football…

Kettering Town fitness beyond a joke - Mark Stimson (BBC)
